On the 5th floor of the East Building, there is a "Universal Room" designed with wheelchair access in mind. It is a spacious 62 square meters, with wide entrances and passageways. It can accommodate up to four people, so you can share the room with your family or caregiver with peace of mind.
Thoroughly eliminated steps and support facilities within the building
The main routes from the lobby to the guest rooms and restaurants are either flat or have slopes. There are also wheelchair-accessible shared restrooms and elevators with low operation panels. Rental wheelchairs, shower chairs, and other amenities are also available.
Individual dietary arrangements and considerations
We can discuss dietary requirements such as chopped or paste foods, allergy options, etc. (Advance consultation required.) All restaurants also offer table seating for guests in wheelchairs, and private dining rooms are available (at some stores) for added privacy.

Approximately 10 minutes on foot from JR Sapporo Station and about 5 minutes on foot from Odori Subway Station. Roughly 80–100 minutes by airport shuttle bus from New Chitose Airport. Barrier-free access to the East Building entrance is available via the elevator located next to Exit 8 of the Sapporo Underground Pedestrian Space (Chi-Ka-Ho).
