Examples of accessible locations
Tsukiji Outer Market

This market encapsulates Tokyo's food culture and is a dream destination for foodies worldwide. Unlike the central wholesale market, which relocated to Toyosu in 2018, the outer market continues to operate in Tsukiji, a vibrant area bustling with approximately 400 shops. From sushi and seafood bowls made with fresh seafood to Tsukiji's unique tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), yakitori (grilled skewers), and matcha sweets, the joy of strolling and eating is endless. The atmosphere of this authentic "kitchen of Tokyo," where professional chefs come to purchase ingredients from early in the morning, is a special experience that can only be found here.
Accessibility Information
The main street is paved and wheelchair accessible.
Some alleys are narrow, so the guide will primarily lead you along wider streets.
Independent shops primarily offer takeout. You can enjoy them in a street food style.
Multipurpose restrooms: Located within and around the Tsukiji Outer Market.
Tokyo Skytree

Opened in 2012 as a new landmark of Tokyo, this 634-meter-tall, freestanding radio tower is the world's tallest. From the observation deck (350m above ground), you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Kanto Plain, and on a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji, Mount Tsukuba, and the Pacific Ocean. The contrast between the Sumida River and downtown scenery below and the skyscrapers towering in the distance is breathtaking. At night, the illuminated tower itself becomes a beautiful photo spot, but the daytime view is also exceptional. The adjacent commercial facility, "Tokyo Solamachi," houses over 300 shops, where you can enjoy shopping and dining.
Accessibility Information
Elevators are available, and the observation deck is wheelchair accessible.
Wheelchairs are available for rent (1st floor information desk).
Multipurpose restrooms: Located on each floor
Discounts available for people with disabilities (applicant + one caregiver upon presentation of disability certificate).
Tokyo Solamachi is also fully barrier-free.
Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Street

Asakusa Temple, Tokyo's oldest temple boasting a history of over 1,400 years, is one of Tokyo's top tourist attractions, attracting approximately 30 million visitors annually. The Kaminarimon Gate, with its giant 11.7-meter-tall red lantern hanging from it, is an iconic symbol of Tokyo that everyone recognizes. Passing through the Kaminarimon Gate, you'll find Nakamise Street stretching for about 250 meters to the main hall, lined with approximately 90 shops selling everything from traditional Japanese sweets such as ningyo-yaki, kaminari-okoshi, and kibi-dango, to the latest sweets. Visitors can pray in a solemn atmosphere at the main hall, and the five-story pagoda and Hozomon Gate within the temple grounds are also well worth seeing. It's a spot where the vibrancy of downtown Tokyo and Japanese tradition coexist, and can be considered the origin of Tokyo tourism.
Accessibility Information
The main hall is equipped with an elevator, making it accessible for wheelchair users.
Nakamise Street is a flat, paved road, approximately 250 meters long.
Two multipurpose restrooms (next to Hozomon Gate, on the north side)
The Kaminarimon underground parking lot is wheelchair accessible.
To avoid congestion: We recommend arriving in the morning to avoid crowds.
Examples of accessible restaurants
The tour price does not include meals, but we can recommend wheelchair-accessible restaurants in the areas you plan to visit.

The spacious restaurant has 180 seats, plenty of table seating, and an automatic door at the entrance allows for smooth entry for wheelchair users.
Recommended menu items: All-you-can-eat barley and grated yam lunch, Jurokusaizen
Budget: Lunch from 2,000 yen
