Dotonbori and Namba area

Dotonbori, the symbol of Osaka's Minami district, is a vibrant area brimming with Kani Doraku and Glico signs. While it's usually very crowded, this tour will explore the riverside promenade, the Tonbori Riverwalk. There are ramps and elevators leading from ground level to the promenade, making it wheelchair accessible. We recommend taking photos with the signs in the background from a quieter spot along the river, rather than from the bustling Ebisubashi Bridge (Hikkakebashi). For lunch, we'll visit a renowned udon suki restaurant in the Namba area, such as Mimiu. The udon noodles, simmered in broth, are soft and packed with ingredients, making them highly nutritious. This menu is also popular with seniors and those with swallowing difficulties. We'll select restaurants with wheelchair-accessible tables and accessible restrooms.
Osaka Castle (castle tower and park)

Osaka Castle conveys the glory of the great rulers of Japan to the present day. Osaka Castle Park is very large, and the castle tower is quite far from the station, but by using a caregiver taxi, you can get close to areas that regular vehicles cannot enter (such as the Sakuramon Gate area). Inside the castle tower, there is an elevator for wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties, allowing you to easily ascend to the observation deck on the top floor. The historical exhibits inside the museum are also equipped with ramps to make viewing easy from wheelchair level. Multi-purpose toilets are also available in various places in the park and next to the castle tower, allowing you to enjoy a historical stroll with peace of mind.
Shinsekai/Tsutenkaku area

Shinsekai is an area brimming with downtown charm, lined with flashy signs and kushikatsu restaurants, centered around Tsutenkaku Tower. It's the perfect location for experiencing the authentic Osaka atmosphere. [Accessibility Information] The area has relatively flat roads, making it easy to navigate in a wheelchair. However, due to the narrow alleys and busy tourist areas, a guide or driver will lead the way to ensure a safe route. Even if you're climbing Tsutenkaku Tower, there is an elevator from the entrance to the observation deck (note: wait times may occur during busy periods, so we will be flexible and accommodate this, such as by focusing on strolling around the area). Many of the famous kushikatsu restaurants are wheelchair accessible, making the area a great place to enjoy the atmosphere.
