Wagashi are traditional Japanese sweets that beautifully express the seasons and nature. Known for their delicate designs and subtle flavors, they are an essential part of Japanese culture, often served during tea ceremonies.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to make seasonal Wagashi under the guidance of an experienced instructor. Guests will shape and decorate their own sweets while learning about the cultural meaning and history behind Wagashi.
After completing the sweets, participants will enjoy them together with freshly prepared matcha green tea, allowing them to experience the harmony of flavors that is central to Japanese tea culture.
The experience takes place in a cultural facility near Tokyo Tower designed with accessibility in mind. The venue provides barrier-free access, elevators, and spacious seating areas so that wheelchair users and elderly guests can comfortably participate.
