Tourist attraction: Sumo Museum

Located inside the Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall, this museum preserves and displays a wide variety of materials related to sumo wrestling. The museum is open even when there are no tournaments in session, and displays exhibits that fans will adore, such as nishiki-e prints, rankings, and actual kesho-mawashi (short sashes) used by wrestlers. The museum is barrier-free, so even those in wheelchairs can enjoy the exhibits in comfort.
Restaurant: Chanko Kirishima (Ryogoku Main Branch)

This famous restaurant was opened by former ozeki Kirishima with the desire to "let more people experience the traditional taste of sumo." The secret soup, made by slowly simmering chicken bones and pork bones, is light yet rich, so delicious you won't be able to stop eating. The entire building is a restaurant, and it is equipped with a large elevator. Wheelchairs can enter the restaurant comfortably, and you can enjoy authentic hot pot dishes at spacious table seats.
