Arranging accessible travel requires specialized knowledge, coordination across multiple suppliers, and individual inquiries. By entrusting these complex arrangements entirely to us, we ensure a safe and smooth experience.
We can arrange hotels at excellent rates based on our own independent research.
We conduct on-site inspections throughout Japan, allowing us to propose the most suitable hotels even for large-scale itineraries such as multi-city tours.
We can arrange transportation and private sightseeing tours via nursing taxis.
We have contracts with nursing taxi providers across Japan, allowing us to safely arrange tours and round-trip travel.
We can also provide English-speaking drivers upon request.
We can provide a variety of activities for wheelchair users. In addition to cultural experiences such as watching sumo wrestling, calligraphy lessons, and kimono fitting, we also offer private tours like one-day sightseeing trips all across Japan.
A wide variety of welfare equipment, such as electric wheelchairs and patient lifts, is available for rental.
We can also accommodate specific individual requests, including pre-delivery of equipment to your hotel, as well as airport pickups and returns.

It is difficult to arrange travel smoothly and safely because I cannot gather accurate accessibility information about hotels and local areas from online information alone.
It is necessary to conduct specialized interviews covering details such as wheelchair size, whether the individual can transfer, the level of assistance required, welfare equipment, and emergency response.
Without specialized knowledge, insufficient interviewing increases the risk of leading to trouble on-site.
Coordination across multiple vendors is required, such as delivering welfare equipment to hotels, arranging lift-equipped vehicles, and picking up medical equipment at the airport.
Due to the more complex operations than usual, the workload for arrangements increases, and errors are more likely to occur.

Our staff members personally visit major tourist destinations across Japan to collect detailed information that even the suppliers themselves may not be aware of.
By utilizing our vast database, we provide the most accurate and optimal itineraries faster than anyone else.
02
Through our unique assessment sheet specifically designed for accessible travel—developed based on our past projects—we gain a detailed understanding of each client's information to select the best suppliers and design the ideal itinerary tailored to their specific needs.

We are capable of handling complex arrangements that require specialized expertise and coordination across multiple suppliers, such as booking accessible rooms that match your specific requirements, delivering welfare equipment to hotels, and arranging transportation with wheelchair-accessible vehicles that meet your needs.

We conducted a careful interview in advance regarding the client's physical condition, required assistance methods, and support needs during the trip to create an environment where they could stay with peace of mind. Based on the client's preferences, we arranged for a lift to be brought into the hotel guest room.
By collaborating not only with the hotel but also with assistive device rental companies, we flexibly handled special requests unique to accessible travel that are typically difficult to accommodate through standard lodging arrangements.
Since we assessed the hotel rooms and facilities in advance, we were able to provide recommendations based on an accurate understanding of the feasibility of lift installation, indoor traffic flow, space around the bed, and the accessibility of bathrooms and toilets. By coordinating with the hotel, specialized providers, and local staff according to each individual's situation, we have reduced anxieties regarding mobility and the stay itself, creating a travel environment where guests can spend their time more comfortably.

In response to a long-term stay visiting five cities over 21 days, we have arranged a nationwide barrier-free travel plan. We designed an itinerary that allows for comfortable movement by carefully verifying the safety of transportation and accommodations, including hotel arrangements in each city and securing wheelchair-accessible taxis and transfer vehicles. Furthermore, we went beyond just arranging travel and lodging by organizing activities where guests can experience the essence of Japan, such as sumo wrestling tours and tea ceremony experiences that are easy to participate in while remaining in a wheelchair.
When traveling long distances across multiple cities, equipment conditions and support systems vary by region, making advance verification and local coordination essential. In addition to ensuring safe and smooth arrangements, we can organize experiences throughout the country that allow wheelchair users to not just visit a destination, but truly enjoy it.

Shinkansen (Wheelchair Sheet)
We arranged a 9-day, 8-night barrier-free trip covering Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo for a group of four, including a guest who uses an electric wheelchair.
Booking wheelchair-accessible seats on the Shinkansen, requesting boarding assistance at stations, securing barrier-free hotel rooms, and reserving lift-equipped vehicles cannot be completed through OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) alone. These often require phone confirmations in Japanese and individual coordination with each facility.
Flat Care handles all of these time-consuming and complex booking tasks on your behalf. We pre-verified wheelchair dimensions, mobility requirements, and the accessibility of stations, hotels, and vehicles to create an itinerary that ensures safe and smooth travel. Furthermore, after their Shinkansen journey from Kyoto to Tokyo, we arranged a lift-equipped vehicle from Tokyo Station to the hotel and supported their sightseeing during their stay.
Even for trips spanning multiple cities, we provided comprehensive support so that our guests could enjoy their travel and stay in Japan without the burden of complicated booking procedures.
Enjoy a safe and comfortable journey with flexible, same-day itinerary adjustments.

Accessile 1Day Tour
We arranged a five-day, four-night trip to Tokyo for a family of five visiting from Taiwan, ensuring that the mother, who uses a manual wheelchair, could enjoy the experience with peace of mind.
To avoid long travel times and an overly packed sightseeing schedule, we pre-arranged wheelchair-accessible rooms at the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo, a lift-equipped vehicle for airport transfers from Narita, and private chartered tours within Tokyo. On the day of the tour, we flexibly customized the itinerary to ensure a comfortable pace, such as changing the destination from Senso-ji Temple to Meiji Jingu Shrine or returning to the hotel for a break, based on the weather, the guest's physical condition, and their preferences.
By providing not only pre-arrangements but also a system that allowed for real-time adjustments based on the situation, we delivered a comfortable trip where every family member could relax and enjoy themselves.
We provide support to travel agencies around the world, including those in Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania.

Additionally, we have implemented a 24-hour internal support system to ensure a safe and secure travel experience.
We flexibly adjust sightseeing schedules based on your physical condition and preferences on the day of the tour. To ensure a comfortable trip, we strive to make adjustments even on short notice.
